In year 2019, the Construction Industry Council (CIC) conducted the first industry-scale BIM Adoption Survey in Hong Kong to gauge the local BIM adoption situation. The survey was organisation-based with more than 1,400 organisations reached. The survey results provided an overview of the attitude of different stakeholders towards BIM adoption in their projects and measures to increase and advance the BIM adoption rate were also recommended.

This Year, our HKU BIM Innovation and Technology Start-up (LPC Co. Ltd.) won the CIC BIM Adoption Survey 2020 project. Taking the methodology developed last year as the foundation, the BIM Adoption Survey 2020 will keep track of the local BIM adoption situation. In this webinar, it would be described in detail about the background of the project, objectives, methodology to be used . Our current step is to collect responses from the stakeholders. As such, it is cordially invited to attend the webinar voluntarily participate in this year survey.
